These are my tweaked or custom Datacad toolbar icons. I have moved primarily to 32x pixel toolbars now so most of these have been redone. I also have included PSD Photoshop files with layer support for those who might want to steal parts from one icon to another. The actual icons are much sharper than the animation, as the animation doesn’t support full alpha channel transparency. I haven’t updated everything I have yet and there are a few I am not happy with just yet so there will probably be another update at some time in the future, but for now this is it. Next on my waste time late at night list is a set of High DPI Datacad folder icons. π I know, I’m a nerd. Thanks to GIFMaker.me for the great online GIF maker. My old Ulead Gif Animator gave up the ghost finally.

Question: On DataCad 18
I’m adding door and window symbols to a condo plan, then making an XREF and then flipping it the other side. Problem is the numbers when flipped are lower on the inside of the oval/hexagon and block it out. Is there a way to make these flip symmetrically?
Thanks.
Jeff
So there is a couple of things probably going on. First and most major thing is probably the font being used. Most CAD based CHR/SHX fonts don’t mirror too well usually, a few do ok. If there is a TTF version of your font available, I would try using that font, and set it to a Center/Middle alignment and see how the flipping and flopping go both with xrefs and with symbols, and when using Fix Text On and Off. I usually will try to load up the largest number I think I will use (size wise) so something like 888 depending on the font’s number shapes. I start with the text dead center in the shape, test the flipping and flopping to see how things go and then I make minor adjustments in the text’s location to find a happy middle location based on trying different numbers. Hope this helps get you going π Thanks for visit! P.S. – Do you have an account on the Datacad Forum?
